ARROWHEAD

This year marks the 44th Anniversary of the founding of the Arrowhead Club.  Originally founded as the Stanislaus Warriors Booster Club, the Arrowhead Club was originally chartered to provide moral and financial support to Stanislaus State University fledgling athletic program.

In 1997, the Arrowhead Club withdrew from university athletics and expanded its scope to college, high school and youth group sports in the Greater Stanislaus Area. Since December of 1997, the Club has distributed over $448,183 to youth athletics in the greater Stanislaus area.

The Arrowhead Club is governed by a Board of Directors, who organize fund drives, determine recipients, decide on levels of financial support, and maintain reserves in the form of investments and savings.

Along with economic need, funding for sports programs is based on benefit to the largest number of individuals. Applications and funding to schools and youth organizations are granted three times a year.

The Funding Application period is closed for the school year 2011-12.  Please remember to attend the Mandatory meeting on September 18, 2012.  The meeting is always the third Tuesday of September.

The Mandatory meeting for the school year 2011-12 will be held on Sept 20, 2011 at 6 pm at River Oaks Golf Course in Ceres, 3441 Golf Links Rd, Ceres, CA.   It is mandatory that you attend this meeting in order to apply for funding during the 2011-12 school year.
